Through photography, Risen Phoenix has experienced healing and has made healing available to others. Working with models, he learned about himself and our shared human experience, deepening his relationship with life.
ABOUT ME AND THIS BOOK
I have shown my work in Exhibitions and solo shows throughout Minnesota and California. My fine art nudes have been featured in Juxtapoze online as well as Editorial magazine. I have also been awarded the picture of the day 3 times by the editors of Vogue Italia.
I think Model Society Magazine is the finest magazine being published right now. To be asked to be part of that is incredibly special. The fact that we’re doing a book to feature my work feels like a high pinnacle of recognition.
That’s important to me because I don’t do this for money. Getting the work out there, getting the work seen, and having it be appreciated is what matters most to me.
